As a UX designer and researcher, I draw inspiration and skills from my vast experience working in collaborative and multidisciplinary environments.
I design because I love to create. I chose UX design because I love people. I find it incredibly fascinating to watch people interact with a design. My fascination with the human-computer interface drives me to uncover the deeper ‘why’ behind their actions.
Why do people see some things and not others? What makes a design more or less visible, and why? How do all these things differ from each individual person, community, or culture? Understanding these things, in my mind, is the key to a future where technology enhances the lives of its users and enables us to know ourselves better.
When I’m not designing you can usually find me surfing the waves at the beach, hiking trails in the mountains, or growing something fresh to eat in the garden.
